After ripping and slashing its way through the box office, Kill’s OTT release rights have apparently been picked up by Disney+Hotstar, right on the heels of news about the movie getting the Hollywood remake treatment. Although there is no definite date on when the movie will premiere on your living room TV, you can catch the brutal spectacle in all it’s g(l)ory in theaters. Just don’t get too much to eat at the lobby – might , or you could find it difficult to keep your popcorn down. Or worse, tossed at the seats in front in all your excitement.
Considering that the typical trend for movies to release on OTT is between one to two months after its theatrical release, we should expect Kill’s OTT release to be available for streaming sometime at the end of August (more likely) or the beginning of September. Whether you’re watching it for the first time or rewatching it at home, just make sure you stock up on the popcorn. We’ll let you know when!
Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, Kill stars Lakshya as a hardened commando killing and maiming his way through a passenger train filled with bloodthirsty thieves to save those on board.
