The Great Ambani Middle Class Wedding, as imagined by AI

The recent Ambani bash, the most expensive wedding in the history of weddings, cost over 5000 crore rupees or $600 million USD, and turned heads worldwide for being one of the most extravagant, outlandishly lavish affairs we’ve ever seen. While we trying to figure out the number of zeroes in that horribly large number, one Instagram user, Sahid Sk, used AI to put his own creative spin on it, by asking AI what an Ambani middle class wedding would look like.

On his Instagram page, @sahixd, Sahid used AI and Photoshop to create renditions of the Anant Ambani – Radhika Merchant wedding as a traditional, simple, middle-class wedding, in the style of the Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao-starrer Vivah.

What’s funny is that AI thinks even middle-class Ambanis are a cut above the rest – a feeling that was echoed by one user that commented hilariously – “Even Ambani’s middle class version is richer than me!”

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant tied the knot on July 12 in the wedding event of the century. The wedding was preceded by months of celebrations, 11 pre-wedding events and a guest list that read like the who’s who of the world’s top celebrities, including every pop-culture star imaginable as well as industry leaders like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.
